ICS Learn COVID-19 Update | March 2020
It is almost impossible to comprehend how quickly the coronavirus pandemic has changed our lives in only a matter of weeks. As the UK joins many other countries in taking unprecedented measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by this difficult and challenging situation.
Our number one priority is the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff, and so on Friday 20th March, we closed our headquarters to allow all our teams to work from home and ensure we do our part to limit the spread of the virus.
For more than 130 years, our mission has been to provide learning from a distance, and we have done so to millions of students. We pride ourselves on giving students the flexibility and the confidence to achieve their goals no matter what the world throws at them.
Today is no different, and we want you to know that we are here to support you no matter what.
For many years our courses have been designed to be 100% online, so when it comes to enrolling and learning with us, nothing has changed. You will enjoy the same excellent support online and by phone, the same live online classes, and the same innovative course materials as always.
We will be here to support you on your path to success and help you make the most of every opportunity, even in these unusual times.
To our current students
Your Student Community access will continue as normal. Our tutor teams have always worked from home, so you will not face any difficulties or delays in contacting your tutor or submitting assignments online.
If you are due to attend an exam, you should check with the exam venue to ensure this is still going ahead. As exam and assessment arrangements differ between awarding organisations, we will be placing course-specific information on your course home page as it becomes available, so please visit your Student Community regularly for updates.
If you need any help or advice, get in touch with Student Services in the usual way.
As far as your studies are concerned, it is business as usual, and we will always be here to support you. We wish you all the very best and please stay safe.
